Description
Our recommended Torque Converter features a 3-plate clutch lock up mechanism. Benefits over the stock torque converter include: better torque multiplication, reduced rotating mass and 3-plate vs. 2-plate lock up, resulting in a 2-1/2 to 3 tenths drop in ET in the quarter mile. Installation takes about 3 hours and requires significant effort and a well equipped shop. We recommend that you have the installation done by an experienced shop, but we do provide installation instructions so you can do it yourself.
