4.6L 3V Coil Pack Set By Ford Racing M-12029-3V
Includes one complete set of stock replacement coils. (set of 8)
Fits Mustang 4.6L 3V engines with 12mm Spark Plugs. Does not fit 3V heads with "high thread" design spark plugs which was equipped on 2005-2007 Mustang and early 2008 Mustang GT Mustangs.
Required when installing Ford Heads M-5049-463VP3 & M-5050-463VP3, M-6049-N3V & M-6050-N3V, and M-6049-N3VPA & M-6050-N3VPA.
Direct replacement for 4.6L 3V engines equipped with Engineering part number 8L3E Coils.
Engines with late style 12mm spark plugs can be identified by coil engineering number 8L3E. Engines with early style 16mm "high thread" design spark pugs can be identified by coil engineering 3L3E part number.
Symptoms of faulty coil pack
- Rough Idle
- Noticeable lack of power
- A significant drop in RPM's while accelerating
- A blinking or intermittently activating check engine light
- Change in the exhaust note
- Smoke from the exhaust emitting intermittently
- Vehicle vibration
