Worlds Quickest N/A Coyote Built by JDM Engineering

Long time JDM Engineering Customer Don Carson has a stable of JDM Built and Tuned Ford vehicles. These vehicles include a 9 second Lightning truck equipped with a GT Supercar 4V Engine, an original 2005 Ford GT Supercar and a 2008 Funk Flex Ford Expedition equipped with a 5.4L 3V topped with a Saleen Supercharger making 400+WHP. Each of these masterpieces has been meticulously looked after by the team at JDM Engineering including Jim D'Amore himself, Owner and Tuner of JDM.

In 2013 Don purchased one of the three N/A 5.0L Cobra Jets built that year. Don knew his Naturally Aspirated Coyote stood far behind the other 2.9L Whipple Equipped Cobra Jets that suck down a hefty 20 lbs of boost. Naturally, Don brought us his new beauty and we began doing what we do best here at JDM, making an already good Ford product well, better.

In short, Don's Cobra Jet received a JDM Built Custom Coyote Engine that supports a Built Short Block, Boss 302 Heads and Custom Grind Cams just to name a few upgrades done to this machine. All components were designed to abide by NHRA Stock Eliminator Specifications.

After some starting line and final drive ratio adjustments, Don's 2013 N/A Cobra Jet ran its best E/T of 9.669 @ 139.43 MPH quickly becoming the Quickest and Fastest N/A Coyote Powered Mustang in the World!! This was all done at a at a Race Weight of about 3200 lbs!!

Unbelievably, this car WILL go Quicker and Faster after a few more "Tweaks."

Stay tuned for more updates on Don's 2013 N/A Cobra Jet brought to you by JDM Engineering.
