We at JDM Engineering stand behind the Accufab product line and we like accufab tensioners due to their robust and durable design with zero exceptions in quality parts for your Ford Mod motor. This tensioner is designed to use significantly less oil during operation and also uses a custom one piece plunger assembly and is machined for a viton o-ring for a leak proof seal. Less oil consumption equates to slightly higher oil pressure, and thus less oil needlessly bled back into the oil pan leading to bearing surfaces and journals getting the oil needed in high load heavy use applications!
