Tom Murphy brought his 2022 Eruption Green Shelby GT500 Mustang to us for upgrades and custom dyno tuning. This GT500, equipped with a Whipple 3.8L Supercharger, boasts an impressive 900 horsepower at the tires on 93 octane. It's also fitted with a Fore Innovations return-style fuel system and ID 1300 injectors to handle the increased fueling demands. Long tube headers and a high-flow X-pipe exhaust help this supercharged engine breathe freely. With more boost and race gas, this car is capable of over 1100 rear-wheel horsepower.
Tom entrusted us to dyno test his vehicle on our in-house Dynojet dyno using SCT custom tuning software. We developed a safe and reliable street tune he can use with confidence. Keep an eye out for this striking Shelby on the streets or at the drag strip!
