The JDM Engineering Cool Air Induction Kit for 1999 & 2000 Lightnings combines our superior performance Cool Air Kit with a 90mm MAF (mass air meter) from Ford to give you maximum performance. This kit features a billet aluminum adapter and a 12" S&B Air Filter. We have found this to be the best filter because, in addition to its overall high flow characteristics, it incorporates a filter element at its peak, allowing air to flow directly through the cool air inlet of the fenderwell into the filter. We have also incorporated a performance-tuned air charge temperature sensor, a spring bracket and a foam rubber boot for pulling air through the fenderwell. Due to the inclusion of the 90mm MAF, the installation of this kit requires the use of a PCM chip, such as JDM's Dual Program PCM Flip Chip. If you already have a JDM or any Superchips chip, we will reburn it to work with your new MAF at no cost. When installed along with one of our chips, you'll see a 6 to 8 tenths drop in your quarter mile times.
