5.4L 2V Lightning F-150 Iron Shortblock 1200 HP Built By JDM Engineering 

Looking to bullet proof your 1999-2004 Lightning F-150 2V engine? Team JDM has you covered with this 1200 HP capable, fully built iron shortblock! The weak-link in the factory 5.4L engine is with out a doubt the OEM connecting rods. Team JDM uses Manley H beam 4340 forged rods with ARP 2000 hardware. These heavy duty rods are used to support the rotating assembly with a Ford Performance Cobra Jet crankshaft and Manley pistons with a moly ring package. Speed Pro bearings allow the crank and rods to spin freely with minimal friction limiting wear and tear. Comes with a brand new high volume Ford OEM oil pump. If you are looking for a durable and reliable engine for your Lightning this is it! Most of the components used in this application Team JDM has tested and developed on their Cobra Jet Mustang race cars!  JDM Engineering has built thousands of modular engines and lightning short blocks for over 20 years now and still to this day quality and reliability is job #1.
