2005-2010 Mustang Ford OEM Replacement Slave Cylinder
When installing a new clutch, it is recommended to change your slave cylinder also. This is a OEM Ford Part slave cylinder is what you need. Because parts do get worn out and being you are installing a new clutch you don't want to have to go back in and do the slave cylinder a second time.
Symptoms that you have a bad or worn out slave cylinder is one you will see a leak of fluid. This is because the seal has worn out or broke. When the seal is worn or broken it allows air to seep in and this will give you a spongy or soft feel to the clutch pedal. So if you feel your clutch pedal soft or spongy it is a good indication that your seal has worn out and need to replace your slave cylinder. When the clutch is soft it may be hard to operate you clutch properly.
