The JDM Engineering Cool Air Induction Kit for 2001 Lightnings features a billet aluminum adapter and a 12" S&B Air Filter. We have found this to be the best filter because, in addition to its overall high flow characteristics, it incorporates a filter element at its peak, allowing air to flow directly through the cool air inlet of the fenderwell into the filter. We have also incorporated a performance-tuned air charge temperature sensor, a spring bracket and a boot for pulling air through the fenderwell.
